Photography is my passion. I love what I do and I do what I love.
I was born and raised in Colorado. Two years ago my wonderful family relocated to Anthem Arizona. I have a wonderful supportive husband who is my best friend. We have two beautiful kids that complete our family. They are my inspiration and my world.
My passion for photography started while in High school taking Photo 101 and I haven't put my camera down since. I worked in a wonderful photography studio for a couple years and loved every minute of it back in Colorado.

Location, location, location because I specialize in natural, outdoor lighting photography it's true that the sky's the limit with location possibilities.
I have several spots that I can suggest depending on the type of shoot you're going for. I can also come to you, your home, your yard or a favorite spot.
Timing is everything especially in the desert of Arizona! Depending on the time of year, outdoor locations are best in the early morning or during the last two hours before sunset. With kids its best to work around nap time and meal time. Each session lasts approximately one to two hours to fully capture your images you'll cherish for a lifetime. This also allows time for clothes changes, babies to be feed, diapers changes....
Expect the unexpected meaning, gone are the days you dread having your pictures taken. I really do want you to have a good time when were together; so relax, have some fun and most importantly SMILE!
What to wear it's really up to you! Jeans are always good -- the darker the better. (Khakis are also classic). Try to avoid clothing with stripes or bright patterns and clothing with writing on it. For families, you don't have to match, but you should consider colors that complement each other (such as all earth tones) or are all differing shades of the same color. And don't forget your feet! Shoes are just as important because they will show in pictures. Nothing ruins a picture like a great outfit with scruffy sneakers. Sometimes though, bare feet also make for great pictures!
What happens after the session? Within two weeks of your session, all of your proofs will be artistically edited and posted here on the website in a proofing gallery. You will place an order online or through me and all prints will be delivered two to four weeks after your place your order. Custom work such as albums and canvases can take six weeks or more depending on the time of year.

Session pricing noted above is for time and talent of the photographer only. Approximately 30-40 portraits artistically edited and presented in password protected online gallery. The session fee does not include images, either digital or printed; these are purchased separately.
$25 minimum print order with each session and the option to buy digital negatives available after minimum print order has been met.

Your session fee is due the days of your portrait session.
Please allow 3-4 weeks for your orders to arrive; all orders must be paid in full at the time of ordering.
Refer Photography by Kristin to friends and family and recieve either a $25 credit towards prints or a free 11x14. Your referral must book and complete their photo shoot to be eligible for the referral certificate.
